What’s included with your lawn mowing service?
A standard lawn mowing service involves cutting the grass to between 5-10 cms (2”- 4”), normally using a petrol lawnmower. Lawn mowing contractors will usually bring their own equipment, plus bags to take the rubbish away. If you have a large garden or acreage, a ride on mower might be required, so make sure you specify the size of the area in your post.
But it doesn’t have to end there. Many lawn mowing service providers offer other inclusions along with the mowing, like...
Edging and whipper snipping
Lawn mowing professionals will have a whipper snipper (and other tools) to give your lawn sharp edges and stop your grass from growing onto the footpath or curbs. They’ll also clean around garden beds, trees, and features for a clean, professional finish.
Rubbish removal
Your gardener may use a leaf blower or broom to remove cut grass from the pathways and edges to leave a clear surface. They’ll also take away any lawn clippings, twigs, and any debris that was on the grass before cutting. If you prefer, you can ask that they leave the grass clippings for you to use as mulch or compost.
Lawn mowing does not usually include removing hard rubbish and waste from your grass. If you want your gardener to clear the area before cutting, make sure you specify this so they can include it in their quote.

Weed killing
Keeping weeds out of your lawns will make them a more welcoming place to play, rest, and relax without worrying about prickles and spikes. Aerating
Soil can get compacted over time, so regular aerating is a good idea if you want to keep it healthy. Hi All, Need to have my garden tidied up. I've included an overhead map with areas marked, and each image has an area number on it to help with your review and quotes. Quotes are to include all fees etc, no extras after the fact. Not a huge job as the yard is quite small. To give you an idea the nature strip is about 2 metres deep and about 11 or so metres wide. NOTE: To keep costs down, I have a green waste bin, and what doesn't fit in there I have garbage bags you can load up that I WILL GET RID OF MYSELF.
