electric hob need replacing

Received a new hob to replace the old one - they are identical, so should be very easy

For some reason the induction hob and oven are not working, we have guest staying and they can’t figure out. The fuses box is showing switches are up.

Temporarily remove gas hob (86cm) so I can measure recess dimensions, then reinstall.

Replace the glass on an induction hob. I already have the replacement glass. The job involves removing the hob from the worktop, transferring the components to the new glass, reinstalling it, and testing that it works correctly. Model BOSH.

Hello, Re switch: We've had someone come in from AirTasker previously to do a few jobs who also replaced a dimmer switch but, in all honesty, made a mess of it - initially it would simply get hot but eventually the internals of the switch have melted and we are currently unable to use it. We'd like it done properly this time. We do not want one of the dimmer switches with the delay (which was installed) but rather the same as what we originally had. Re extractor fan: We haven't used the extractor fan since moving in but it always had a rattle as if the fan is hitting something. I am under the impression there is a lose wire or another component that's causing this. I believe that this isn't a full on repair job but rather just getting inside and adjusting things a bit, which I currently can't do due to some mobility issues.
