The cold tap is leaking when turned on. Some sort of washer needs replacing. There is a small amount of black mould in the kitchen sink and shower so the sealant needs to be removed. The area needs to be cleaned and clear sealant needs to be replaced in both the kitchen and the shower.

“It’s a Scudo concealed 3-way thermostatic valve. It suddenly went permanently hot. I’ve removed the temperature handle and turned the cartridge spindle fully to cold but the temperature doesn’t change. Please check the cold inlet filter and check valve before replacing the thermostatic cartridge.”
