An old shower head is stuck on the pipe opening, likely due to mineral buildup. I am unable to unscrew it off. It needs removing so that the new shower head can be put on.

Hello, We have had a leaking en suite shower. It only leaks when in use and water comes from underneath to the carpet and flat below, causing damage. The silicone basin seal has been resealed so it must be coming from the intake (behind panel with temp knob) or drainage (under basin). NB - I'm the tenant arranging on behalf of the landlord as he lives overseas. For his insurance ideally we would have the leak fixed and get a quote for remediation for water damage, but he currently only has just over a week to get the source identified and fixed before the claim is closed. So as far as I know just the fix for now is fine!
