One of our gates is stuck open and no longer responds to the remote, the other gate on the driveway is still functioning as normal. We do not have the manual release key and all the sensors are clean, has previously occured when the sliding gate was obstructed by leaves or debris and last repairman managed to fix in 10 minutes so seems relatively easy.

The garden gate needs fixing. The ring latch and the brenton bolt do not lock anymore, so whenever there is a high intensity of wind the garden gate is flung open. I have had to devise a temporary solution so as to avoid the garden gate being left unlocked. Some bolts have also loosened off the T hinges. I have attached photos for reference

Hi there, We are a disabled and vulnerable household around Brixton and urgently need help securing our back garden gate. We’ve sadly been victims of hate crime in the past, so making sure this gate locks properly is extremely important for our safety. The wrought iron garden gate already has the original welded lock box housing still attached (photo included). We simply need a replacement box mortice lock mechanism installed inside it, plus a keeper/strike plate on the frame and a quick rust-protection paint touch-up if welded and obviously Keys What’s needed: • Fit new box mortice gate lock mechanism into existing housing • Install strike/keeper plate for secure closing • Minor welding/tidy up if required Budget: We are on a fixed income and don’t have much to work with, so we are hoping to stay around £70-£100 all-in (including lock and labour).
