New post and gate re hung

New gate has arrived. Tried to remove old one but 1 bracket will not come loose, so need someone to remove it and install the new gate. It’s a single gate.

From reading the installation guide and reviews it sounds like an easy installation, likely a couple of hours work for a competent installer (which I am not!). Need two garden gates made and fitted. One gap is approx 37cm and one approx 117cm

Hi Namita, i would love to complete this job for you, this would ideally be split over two days, if i remember correctly the door is slightly spit where the hinges are so this would need to be glued and clamped i could pop over on friday for 25 mins/half an hour to glue and clamp the door as well as take a look at the gate i could then return on sunday to complete the rest of the task as by then the glue would of had enough time to set up please let me know if this works kind regards Geoff

Our current pedestrian gate is made of soft wood and is rotting. The letterboxes fitted within are really loose and falling off, and the lock mechanism often breaks. We need a new hard wood gate to be made and fitted. We would like the same arrangement for letterboxes to be fitted within the door.

Yes. Here’s a good clear job post you Electrician needed in Horley (RH6) to investigate electrical fault. One bedroom socket has no power. Found one breaker switch was OFF in the fuse box. When switched back ON, the bedroom light bulb immediately popped, so there may be a short circuit on that circuit. Power is normal in the rest of the house. Lock doesn’t latch correctly anymore

I have an electric gate and recently we repaired the arm on the gate and 1 leaf isn’t opening and closing properly. The arm is working fine so it’s not a hardware issue it seems the programming on the gate isn’t working properly. Maybe needs a reset & someone to program it properly

I would like to be able to close my side gate from the outside. At the moment it has a lock from the house side, however when my husband leaves the house in the morning he goes out the side door which is then unable to be closed behind him. I think it needs a latch or something.
