I’ve had new carpet laid in the 2 bedrooms but where it’s quite thick it now means that I can’t open and close the wooden bedroom doors. Therefore they will need trimming at the bottom. I’m not sure if the doors will need to be taken off the hinges for this to be done, or if you have a circular electric saw this could be done whilst the door is still up. To be completed during school hours because my son is autistic and will find it hard with the noise when he is at home. Thank you

Hi, I need some prices please to have a carpet fitted in my bedroom. The room size is about 3 m x 4 m. I have removed the original carpet and underlay, but I do need to get some new underlay. The fact that I didn’t get a carpet firm to come in and do it for me dictates that I cannot afford for them to do so, and with that in mind please be kind with the quotes. I will clear the room beforehand and the current strip things round the room can be reused. I do want to paint the room before the carpet goes down, so I am not in a rush. I just need to know what I’m looking at paying. Ps. I make great tea ☕️ lol
