Find experienced local fencing contractors in Watford Junction

Fencing services include installing, repairing, and replacing a fence. Taskers can perform any fencing task, be it building you a fence from scratch or removing your existing fence. Get any fencing task done on our platform, be it residential or commercial fencing services. Here’s a list of fencing services you can request on Airtasker.

Fence installation prep

Fence installation prep includes surveying your boundary fence line and planning fence placement. This step entails measuring and marking out the fenced area. Your Tasker can also help you choose the best type of fence based on your needs and preferences.

Some popular fencing options include wood fencing, Colorbond fencing, and chain wire. If you need to remove a tree obstructing the site, a Tasker can help with that as well. As for your sourcing needs, delivery Taskers can pick up and deliver your fence panels to you.

Fence installation process

Whether it's garden fencing, pet fencing, or even temporary fencing, the construction starts with putting up the end posts and corner posts. Typically, a fence erector digs up post holes and uses concrete to set the posts. Once the fence posts are set, your fence fitter will then put up the fence panels.

Your fence should work in harmony with the landscaping. For instance, you’d want to avoid growing vines that could damage your fence. A landscaper can advise you on your landscaping decisions so that you can avoid costly mistakes. Both fencing services and garden services are available on our platform. Taskers can even assemble your outdoor furniture if you’re setting up a cosy deck in your garden.

Fence repair

When comparing fencing services, fence repair is a cheaper and faster alternative to a total fence replacement. Methods for fence repair vary depending on the damage. To fix a rotted wood fence, your Tasker may remove the affected panels and replace them with new ones.

If your fence posts are loose due to soil erosion, your fence specialist may use soil or gravel backfill to steady the posts. Attach a photo to your task or schedule an on-site inspection. Fencing contractors can assess your fence and recommend suitable solutions.

Fence painting

Fence painting services are a great solution if your fence is looking tired or if you simply want to change the colour of your fence. Hire a Tasker to freshen up your fence with spray paint or touch-up paint. You can also avail of staining services to protect your wooden fence from moisture and bring out the wood’s natural beauty.

Fence staining

There are two different ways to stain a fence, and one of them is by using a paint roller, which is ideal if you’re not in a rush. Staining a wood fence with a roller may involve other materials such as a paint tray, a paintbrush, and rags. Your Tasker will use the roller to cover your fence with the stain and apply one to two coats.

Using a sprayer to stain a fence can take less time. Just like when using a roller, your Tasker may use materials to protect the area around your fence from overspray. They will then pour the stain into a sprayer and cover your fence with it. The duration will depend on the size and type of your fence, but the process can take several hours to several days.

Once they’re finished, they will inspect the fence, clear the surrounding area, and pack up their equipment. All you need to do is wait for the fence to dry completely. If having your fence stained using a roller doesn’t seem like the right fit for you, don’t worry because there is another available option.

Fence removal

If your fence is beyond repair, or you’re looking to replace your chicken wire with a nicer fence, a fence removal Tasker can help. Fences provide safety, but they can also trap wildlife in a wooded lot. In such cases, you may be better off removing your fence.

Whichever your reason for fence removal, a Tasker can tear down that fence you’ve always wanted to get rid of. Leave the strenuous tasks to your fence specialist, from digging out your fence posts to taking the rubbish to the tip.
