I have a portable AC unit that part of it has stopped working. The unit has multiple modes, and the normal "Fan" mode still works. But the actual AC cooling mode doesn't work anymore. When put into this mode the AC starts of blowing out cold air as it should, but the heat exhaust pipe at the back isn't producing anything. It used to push out warm air very powerfully where the hose attached and went out the window. We can see inside the heat exhaust pipe that the blower wheel is moving around a lot more and seems potentially loose. It makes a lot more noise then it used to and seems to bang against the side. Eventually the wheel seems to stop and then warm air comes out the front instead of the cold air. I would guess the problem is with the wheel or motor that's stopping the hot air from being funnelled out and it's causing it to overheat but I'm not really sure.

I’m looking for a qualified electrician, ideally with previous experience installing hexagon/honeycomb LED lighting systems, to upgrade the lighting in my integral garage/home gym in Manchester. There is currently a standard LED strip/batten light fitted to the centre of the garage ceiling, controlled by the existing wall switch. I’m looking to have this removed and replaced with a hexagon LED lighting system, securely mounted to the boarded ceiling and professionally connected to the existing switched lighting circuit. The garage is approximately 3m wide and is being converted into a dedicated home gym. I will supply the hexagon lighting kit, but I’m happy to discuss the exact kit with the installer before purchasing to ensure it is suitable for the installation. I need an urgent home call-out in SK6 this week to repair and completely reassemble a DeLonghi portable AC unit. The machine is currently taken apart. It needs the internal frame/shell put back together, the bottom aluminum fins near the compressor combed out straight, and a 2-wire red/black connection soldered directly past a torn mainboard pin at terminal CN6. Electric oven needs fitting

I’m looking for a joiner to build two bespoke floor-to-ceiling cupboards. The first is to box in my boiler and all of the exposed pipework, with the cupboard extending down to the floor. I’d like it to have two doors: an upper door for full access to the boiler for servicing and maintenance, and a lower door opening into a storage cupboard underneath the boiler for household items. The second cupboard is to box in my electricity meter and consumer unit, again extending all the way to the floor. This should include an access door for the meter and electrics, with a built-in shoe rack in the lower section to make use of the space while still allowing safe access when needed. I’d like both cupboards to have a clean, modern finish that matches the room, with all pipework and cables neatly concealed where possible, while ensuring the boiler and electrics remain fully accessible and comply with any required ventilation and clearance regulations. I’ve attached photos of both areas for reference and would appreciate a quote.
