I’m looking for a reliable and detail-oriented person to help care for my wardrobe and household laundry on a regular basis. This is a recurring weekly role (around 2–3 hours) and I’m looking for someone who takes pride in keeping clothing and linens in excellent condition. Responsibilities * Wash, hang and dry laundry according to garment care instructions. * Fold and neatly put away clean laundry. * Iron or steam clothing where required (I have a garment steamer available). * Refresh delicate garments using a clothes steamer when appropriate. * Change bed linen and remake the bed with fresh sheets. * Keep wardrobe drawers, linen cupboards and laundry storage tidy and well organised. * Match socks and organise clothing in a consistent and logical way. * Check garments for loose buttons, small holes or loose hems and carry out simple sewing repairs where possible. * Set aside items that require professional dry cleaning or more significant repairs. * Ensure clothing is stored carefully to maximise longevity and keep everything looking presentable. I need your help lifting items, as I won’t be carrying much myself. Tasks include sorting items for storage, charity, or disposal, and creating organized spaces. There are quite a lot of stairs, so you need to be energetic. You’ll use a ladder for loft storage. I can drive us to the storage unit, but there are stairs down to it. You don’t need specific experience—just be practical, proactive, and have common sense about where things might go. Bring helpful home organization ideas and patience, as there’s clutter and small items to sort. I've put an hourly rate as I'm not sure how long the task will take. Fluency in English is essential. Some baby experience is a plus. It would be great if you’re happy to hold the baby briefly, for example if I need to nip to the bathroom or make lunch.
