Find a professional home and lifestyle expert in Richmond

We’re looking for a really good, reliable housekeeper/cleaner for our busy 3-storey family home in Richmond. We have 3 young children (two boisterous boys and a girl!), 2 cats and a very lazy dog. The children are usually at nursery/school during term time and we both work full-time, mostly from home. Life is busy and the house gets chaotic, so we need someone happy to do more than just clean around things. We really need help getting the house back under control each week – tidying, putting toys and clothes away, changing beds, laundry, dishwasher, general organising, plus a proper clean. There are 4 bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, living areas and stairs to clean, including hoovering, mopping, dusting, surfaces, mirrors etc. We have all cleaning products and equipment, including an upholstery cleaner. One bedroom is generally only available in the afternoon, but the rest of the house can be worked around. We previously had someone for around 5 hours a week but realistically probably need more help now. We’re flexible – one person for longer, two people together, or a mix of housekeeping and cleaning. We’d much rather pay for enough time to do it properly than squeeze everything into too few hours. The main thing is finding someone proactive, thorough and genuinely RELIABLE who is experienced with busy family homes. Please only offer if you have strong housekeeping/cleaning experience and good reviews. If you work as part of a team/company and can provide cover when away or on holiday, even better. Happy to start with a trial but ideally looking for a regular, long-term arrangement. Budget is a guide and we’re happy to discuss hours/rates for the right person.

Have lots of lightweight but bulky items to store in my loft. Need an extra pair of hands this morning- before 2pm - to bring items upstairs & then pass items to me in loft. It’s bags of soft cushions, bedding and light foam mattresses. Nothing heavy. It’s event equipment for my small business and I do this on a weekly basis. But helper away today. Help with home cooking twice a week
