Perfect fit alliminium blind cord had freyed (the one at the edge not the ones that go through)

Blind has been ripped down from the top and has come completely off. Two sided sticky tape has come off with it.

The rope cord snapped on my horizontal blinds. I tried to thread it back through the slats to tie a knot but i wasn't successful, even if i had tied the knot it wouldn't go through the slat holes to release the blind .
