My garden gate is bowing and sagging. The vertical boards have bowed and there is sagging on the latch side. Looks like diagnal braces need to be added and maybe a tension rod.

We have two garden gates needing attention. One is aluminum and attached to house on one side and a post on the other. It is at an angle and a new post probably needs to be put in to connect to and straighten up. The other gate needs the lock realigned.

Each space (see photos) is quite unique (bannisters, skirting boards etc) so you may need to provide and install wooden boards first in some places. I have a metal driveway/garden gate where the bottom hinge adjustment bolt has rusted and seized. The bolt appears to be welded to the hinge bracket, so it cannot simply be unscrewed. The gate still hangs on the hinge pin, but the rusted stop/adjustment bolt likely needs cutting off and either replacing or re-welding. I’m looking for someone who can inspect and recommend the best repair, which may involve: Cutting off the rusted welded bolt Welding a replacement adjustment bolt Or another suitable hinge repair Photos are attached for reference. Hi Namita, i would love to complete this job for you, this would ideally be split over two days, if i remember correctly the door is slightly spit where the hinges are so this would need to be glued and clamped i could pop over on friday for 25 mins/half an hour to glue and clamp the door as well as take a look at the gate i could then return on sunday to complete the rest of the task as by then the glue would of had enough time to set up please let me know if this works kind regards Geoff

I need some floating wooden floor boards lifted to investigate a water leak.

We are seeking a like-for-like replacement for a very old post and chain fence. I've attached photos for your consideration. We would like to re-use the chain as there is nothing wrong with it. The fence posts, however are apparently rotten at the base and have fallen over or are in the process of falling. We will need 3 Fence posts, 5 eyelets and a 90 cm wide gate. We'd like the existing fence removed and taken away.

We want to remove the old garage gate and replace this with a wooden gate that opens inwards at the middle. The door to the side can we reused, but it will need refitting and hinges replaced. We would like to replace the padlock with a Yale smart lock. The new gate should be 7-8ft. The existing is 6ft.
