The weeds and long grass need cutting back, and the gravel area needs weeding and raking to level it out. There are also bamboo shoots at the back that need removing, and the areas along the fence need clearing where weeds have become overgrown. Tidying the edges between the gravel and planted areas would also help improve the overall look.
