We have a 3x8m room which we need to fit skirting boards to, this would be on most of the walls except one corner which has a kitchen in so will not need skirting. The old skirting is already removed, and we have new MDF skirting ready to be fitted.

I got a new washing machine and due a skirting board sticking out, I can't get it in. I need help removing the skirting board in this area so that I can slide it into place. See the photos.
