My son has poured a very sticky oil in his bedroom and is damaged/destroyed the skirting board. If this can be repaired back to normal I would be happy. If not I would be happy for it to be replaced - so a new skirting board would have to be bought and fitted. The size of the skirting board is around 1.3m. I would like a false chimney breast (MDF only, no plaster board) constructed to mount a TV and with a couple of shelves either side. See picture 2-4 below for something similar to what I’m after (with the cutout hole underneath and side shelving). Three corners/small areas of white skirting board have been chewed by a dog and so need replacing/fixing.

I have the new skirting board needs to be cut to size and installed, and a door under the stairs fitted. If we are happy with the works there are other jobs around the house to be addressed.

Skirting was removed when flooring was laid and was "reattached" with nail gun. Needs tiding, possibly sections removed and reapplied and sealing with builders caulk. Room is 4.41m x 2.86m / 14’6” x 9’5”. Quote can be negotiated depending on the extent of the task, photos can be supplied.
