I’m looking for an experienced flooring/joinery professional to repair a section of subfloor in a bedroom. The floor was previously repaired, but the contractor used a large board/sheet rather than replacing the original floorboards/planks. The repair is now uneven and the board has started to lift, so the floor is not suitable for carpet to be fitted over it. Job required: * Remove the existing board and inspect the area underneath. * Replace it with suitable floorboards/planks, matching the existing floor where possible. * Ensure the boards are securely fixed and supported. * Make the repaired area completely level and stable. * Leave the floor ready for underlay and carpet installation. I’m looking for someone with experience in subfloor repairs and floorboards who can complete the job to a good professional standard. Please provide an approximate quote and availability. I have some new skirting boards that need puttin on in the hallway and diningroom. I have the boards, skirting pins, and adhesive, and I just need someone with the chopsaw that can fit these.

Floorboards to be installed in a small bedroom (slightly bigger than a box room. There is also a small ledge (approx wardrobe size) in the room to be floored. There may be enough flooring left over to also floor the landing. If so, we would like the small landing to be done too. I have the laminate floorboards (they look like they click together). There is also underlay. I will purchase beading. Please see a diagram shown of the size of the room and layout. There is no carpet in the room at the moment. It has been removed and there is currently a plywood floor there. It is possible that a wall bracket for a tv may need to be installed. Will need to confirm.
