I’m looking for a carpenter or flooring specialist to inspect and repair damaged bedroom flooring. It looks like previous tenants may have cut out part of the floorboards or created an access panel. There are visible saw cuts, gaps, drilled holes and a section that appears loose/uneven. I’d like someone to assess whether the floor is safe, check what is underneath before fixing, and carry out a proper repair. The job may involve: * Lifting/checking the damaged section * Making sure there are no pipes or cables underneath * Securing or replacing the cut section * Fitting replacement boards or making the area safe and tidy * Matching the existing flooring as closely as possible This is in a bedroom and I’m looking for a neat, safe repair rather than a temporary filler job. I have some laminate flooring that has been mistakenly cut incorrectly in one section, and as a result doesn't quite fit around the toilet basin in the room - but we also have some off-cuts and I *believe* it should be possible to lay down the flooring in two parts (most likely with with some adhesive to secure it). One part of the bath panel has also been fitted on a wonk as well and could do with being fixed, or otherwise made good. The last thing we would need is some sealant to be set down where the flooring meets the bath/shower to protect leakage.

We need someone to lay marmoleum (a type of lino) in our L-shaped kitchen. This will include preparation of the current floor (tiles) and finishing off once the flooring has been laid. We want to lay the new flooring over the tiles, rather than removing the tiles. We can move the fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwater to provide access underneath. The kitchen units are fitted, so you will need to work around them. I have included some pictures and a plan of the kitchen to help you decide whether this is a task that you can manage.
