Handyman needed – front room installation I need an experienced handyman to complete a few jobs in the front room: * Install electric roller blinds * Install/mount a soundbar stand * Tidy and potentially conceal/hide the wires from the TV and soundbar so the setup looks clean * General drilling/fixing required for the above I already have the hardware. Should be a relatively straightforward job, around 2 hours.

Install a Fotile V10 cooker hood with 200mm external ducting. The duct needs to run through the ceiling/floor void between storeys, so part of the ceiling will need to be opened up to route the duct and then reinstated/made good afterwards.

Existing 60cm built-in gas hob needs removing and replacing with a new electriQ 60cm 4 Burner Gas on Glass Hob (EQGH6042VOL). The current hob is connected with a fixed copper gas pipe, so this may need minor alteration/reconnection to suit the new hob. The existing worktop opening measures approximately 559mm x 495mm and the new hob specifies a 560mm x 490mm cut-out. There is a built-in oven directly underneath which can be removed for access, and a standard electrical socket is already there for the hob ignition plug. Please include removal of the old hob, fitting and connecting the new hob, any minor gas pipe adjustment required, and full gas safety/leak testing. Gas Safe registered engineer required.

Kitchen ceiling light has stopped working in a flat in SW19 (Merton). The rest of the property's lights are fine and the consumer unit has not tripped. I have an electric radiator fixed to a wall where the plaster/wall behind it is in poor condition. I need the radiator carefully removed, as I expect some of the wall/plaster to come away, then the wall repaired and made good.

I’m fitting out a small garden prep kitchen in Coulsdon and need an experienced plumber to complete the water and waste connections. Everything is located very close together, so pipe runs are short. Scope: * connect incoming cold water supply * install hot/cold feeds to 2 sinks * connect a Flomasta 10L undersink stored water heater * fit suitable isolation valves * install the supplied pressure-relief valve and discharge arrangement in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions * connect sink wastes and traps * connect both sink wastes into the existing waste outlet * surface-mount pipework neatly to the wall * pressure-test and check all joints for leaks The electrical connection to the water heater will be carried out separately by an electrician. I’m happy for the plumber either to supply the small plumbing materials or tell me exactly what to purchase beforehand. My Thomas Sanderson Electric blind has broken in two parts- the cable to the blind and the battery pack area.
