Looking for a professional and experienced electrician/handy man to install a 90cm wide cooker hood and chimney to wall above a stove. Cooker hood does not come with a plug, just wires it will need to be hard wired into plug socket by qualified electrician. Please see the picture for more info. All wall fixtures and fittings are included. Cooker hood will be used in recirculating mode as opposed to a vent. Carbon filters and have already been installed and cooker hood is ready to go. Someone with previous experience in mounting cooker hoods would be ideal!

We need a failed ceiling downlight removed and replaced with a new downlight unit. The existing light is hardwired directly into the mains, and the replacement unit is a plug-in type, so the job involves: • Removing the existing hardwired downlight • Converting the current wiring to a suitable plug connection • Installing and connecting the new plug-in downlight • Ensuring everything is safe, secure, and working correctly

A. Survey the site with a Cap and Genny and/or other tools to identify existing cables and pipes. Refine quotation. B. Dig initial inspection holes to confirm survey data on existing cables and pipes. C. Dig a 17m trench 60 cms deep 20-30cms wide from where the pavement joins the driveway, across the left side of the drive (skirting a sewer inspection chamber) and then down the side of the house to the back gate. 1. Clear 2-3 inches of 10mm top gravel for the digging route and place to one side covered by plastic sheet. 2. Put down sheets or boards on which to store the diggings until backfilling. 3. Dig the trench: through a few inches of scalpings and then earth. Follow safe digging guidelines to safely avoid existing electrical cable, gas pipe and water pipe. 4. Instal a cable duct (provided by UK Power Networks) with a pull chord; cover the duct with pea gravel; instal a plastic warning strip provided by UKPN. 5. Refill the trench leaving access holes at both ends for cable installation by UKPN. 6. Replace the top gravel. 7. Remove excess diggings from site and leave it neat and tidy.

Install a new electric socket in room. There is a socket on the adjoining wall from where a cable can be pulled to this new socket. The cable should run through an outside cable conduct.
