Got it — so you only need the benchtop cut (not the hob installed), and the benchtop might be marble or stone, right? Here’s how you can word it clearly for Airtasker: I need someone to enlarge the existing cutout in my kitchen countertop so a new hob can fit. The new hob is slightly bigger than the old one, so part of the benchtop (possibly marble/stone) needs to be cut carefully to the correct size. No installation of hob required — just the cutting/trimming work.

The wires go past an inbuilt dishwasher so might require some creative thinking (but we know it’s possible as we have already installed 2 induction hobs in this spot). When the gas hob is burning there is an orange flame coming from the burner. We belive that it is a potnetially blocked burner or the air to flow ratio is off. The hot water is turning off after a bit of use then does not come on for another 10 minutes believe it needs to be re - pressurised.
Ikenna will turn up and attempt to problem solve whatever the issue is and will ensure when they leave the property the work has been completed and advice has been given.
