The gas hob has developed a fault. When I switch on the cooker power supply, one of the burners starts sparking continuously by itself, even when the control knob is in the OFF position. The burner can be lit normally, but the ignition keeps clicking and sparking after the flame is established and the knob is released. There is no smell of gas.
