washing machine leaves residue on clothing that seem from Waterhouse and makes a weird clunking noise when it goes into spinning cycle

My chair was in the middle of closing up when it just stopped half way through . I turned it off at the plug and then back on , it finished closing but will not now do anything at all.

We are fitting a kitchen with an electric oven and gas hob, we need the gas hob installed into a countertop in a different place to current so gas line may need to be extended. The kitchen is being fitted in late July so ideally some availability around then, but flexible. I have a three year old Electriq 'compact 9000 btu portable air conditioner' which has started making a whirring noise when turned on. I would assume the noise was a loos fan but my initial investigation of the machine doesn't point to exactly where the noise is coming from. If anyone with experience with air conditioners could take the machine apart and identify the noise (and ideally fix it), that would be great.
