I’m looking for an experienced, appropriately licensed/qualified and insured roofer or roof plumber to inspect and modify two upper-level rectangular downpipes at my home in Canberra. The two downpipes currently discharge onto a lower metal roof very close to the external wall cladding. The cladding appears to be fibre cement sheeting, although I’m not completely certain of the exact material. The work required is: Inspect the two existing downpipe outlets and rectify/modify them so rainwater is discharged away from the wall/cladding. Install an appropriate compliant drainage solution, such as spreaders or another suitable arrangement based on the existing roof layout. Inspect the flashing/waterproofing around the wall and lower roof junction. Inspect the cladding around the downpipe outlets for any signs of water damage, deterioration, cracking or other damage. Advise whether the affected cladding needs to be repaired or replaced. If the cladding is still in good condition and does not require repair or replacement, then I only require the two downpipe outlets to be rectified. If any cladding repair or replacement is required, please let me know whether you can also complete this work or quote it separately. The main objective is to properly correct the drainage issue and prevent further water exposure to the wall/cladding, rather than simply applying more silicone or sealant. Photos are available. Please only make an offer if you are appropriately licensed/qualified and insured to undertake this type of roofing/downpipe work in the ACT. This is not a general handyman job. I need to install new solar panels on top of a tiled roof. There are 20 panels in total and I will have all the material. The picture only shows 15 panels, the remaining 5 will can be added next to the 3 panels

Looking for a roof plumber or handy person to replace a short 1.5-metre (approximately) section of gutter and upgrade the downpipe to fix an overflow issue. Scope of work: Remove and dispose of the existing 1.5m gutter and downpipe. Supply and install a new, larger capacity gutter profile (e.g., Hi-Front Quad) along the 1.5m run. Supply and install a new 100mm round downpipe. Colour match: Both elements must be in Woodland Grey. Sealing & Fall: Ensure correct fall toward the downpipe. Trying to hang a sensory hammock for the kids that needs to be fixed into a joist with 2 bolts. Looking for you to also chuck some spackfiller or w/e in the holes I've drilled. I’ve used a stud finder to find what I thought were the ceiling joists, but driving a nail/drill bit through hits air. The roof has a bedroom above it if that provides any useful info.

A truck accidentally caught the gutter and moved it slightly. The gutter bracket has come loose from the timber and the gutter needs to be repositioned and secured again. The gutter end cap is slightly bent and may need straightening or replacement. The downpipe may also need minor realignment. Ladder required. Photos attached
