Dishwasher installer informed us the dishwasher is connected to the hot water valve and it needs to be connected to the cold water. We need a plumber to switch the two so it connects to the cold water or if switching it not allowed to put in the correct ones. I’ve inserted photo showing the dishwasher being connected to the hot water underneath.
There was more to the job we didn’t realise and he was happy to do the new fixes right away. Thanks!

Task 1 – Install Private Water Meter & Isolation Switch Install a private water meter and shut-off/isolation valve servicing the granny flat at the rear of the property. Existing connection is located at the back of the main house, between the main house and the granny flat. Connection is currently over galvanised pipework. Task 2 – Replace Existing Toilet System Replace the existing toilet system inside the main house. Current toilet is old and leaking. Replace both washers. ATM the bathroom is dry, but when used they drip slowly. Building is 20y old, but looks like they replaced all a few years ago. The tub one is not working, you may want to check it while here.
