Hi We have recently renovated an old house and the builder installed insulation bats in the sub floor. To secure these bats the builder put some straps but it isn’t really enough. Am looking for someone who can fix this properly - either with a protective plastic or alternatively something else like wire mesh. Will pay an hourly rate at $50 per hour and this listing is for a minimum of 5 hours I will also be there to help out and pass things etc As it’s under the house it’s not easy work so you must have prior experience, tools, etc. the pictures I have posted are before the house was finished but it gives u a sense of the space. Pls not house is now fully built and the bats have already been better secured than what is in the old photos. Thanks.

In terms of clearence under the house when you enter it is quite good as I am 5ft 10 and I can easily enter in without bending but as u go deeper inside there is less space to stand. Installing underfloor insulation in an already existing house

* This is a repost as previous task was expired Remove and dispose wall plaster, insulation and carpet There was a bad rainwater leak in my bedroom which made the plaster wall and carpet wet. They are now dry. I want to remove the wall plaster, insulation batts and portion of the carpet and underlay, so that I can inspect for mould and put in new insulation batts, plaster wall and carpet afterwards. Its only one side of the wall in the bedroom. The wall has a window. Size of the wall is 266cm x 480cm. Size of the window is 270cm x 112cm. See attached photos. I'm thinking the areas where there are electrical, phone outlets, and connection to aircon, to leave the wall plaster around them as it is and not remove it. Maybe like a 10-20cm margin. Bedroom is on the 3rd floor in a small townhouse. For the carpet, remove the carpet and carpet underlay about 50cm away from the wall, for the entire length of the wall You need to provide dropsheets to cover the bed and the floor, as well as a proper cover for the aircon. Roof insulation required in an apartment with 77sqm of total floorspace. The roof space required to be insulated is also around 77sqm total. I've attached some photos of the roof space.
