I have a plastering repair done in my hallway ceiling - it is slightly water damaged and an attic ladder install has completed that damage. It’s the old style fibrous plaster. There is also a little cornice cracking in the adjoining room. This house is being prepared for sale so I am looking for the most cost effective solution.

Scope of work: • Supply and install a white aluminium tube (approx. 4.87m, can be joined in sections) • Secure the tube to the pergola frame • Attach the rain cover to the tube on one side and to the pergola frame on the other side • Create a slight slope for drainage (5cm higher than another side) • Ensure the cover is pulled tight to prevent water pooling Pergola size: 365cm (L) x 487cm (W) x 234cm (H) This is a simple outdoor installation. No electrical work required. 2. Sandpit cover: Project details: The sandbox is already built and positioned against a timber fence. Approximate size: around 2m x 1m (exact measurements can be confirmed on site). I would like a two-panel (split) hinged lid using a timber frame with clear polycarbonate sheets to allow light in. What needs to be done: Build two sturdy timber frame lids. Securely attach clear polycarbonate roofing sheets to each frame. Install heavy-duty hinges along the back edge (fence side) so both panels open upward. Install secure front latches/locks to prevent wind from lifting the lids. Install gas struts or support arms so the lids can safely stay open while in use. Install a waterproof overlapping design between the two panels, including a rubber weather seal (or similar waterproof strip) to prevent rainwater entering through the centre joint. Ensure the structure has a slight slope for rainwater runoff. All materials must be suitable for outdoor use and safe for children. Important: The lids must be secure in windy conditions.
