Find an experienced handyman in Hackett

I have an existing metal security screen frame/enclosure that was custom-made for the front entry of our house. It covers the front door and sidelights and is currently stored at the side of the house. I’m looking for someone experienced with security doors/screens to: Install and securely fix the existing metal frame/enclosure Supply and fit flyscreen/ insect mesh to the frame Fit/finish the security door section so the whole entry is secure and functional. Please have appropriate experience with security screens/doors and your own tools. Happy for you to inspect before confirming what additional materials are required.

Widen slot of letterbox

Two awnings need to be put up on an external brick wall. One is approx 2m long, the other is about 1m long.

Installation of a cat flap in a glass window

We need brackets and shelves installed on a brick wall. The shelves are a total of 420cm across, and brackets between 80-120cm in height. All materials are supplied (purchased from Bunnings). I need someone to fix door where the door gas pump has pulled off. I think it needs a new piece welded on to it and then a new gas sliding thing attached. As well as this outside we have sliding door and I would like the new rollers attached to them. I will provide the gas pump thing that closes the door. This work is only for fixing the door where it is broken and replacing the rollers

We are looking g for someone to fix our garage door. The cable that connects the latch in the centre of the door has frayed and broken so it can’t be opened from the outside. I believe it is a counterweight garage door. We would like this fixed tomorrow in Hackett. Would require buying new cables (approx 1.5m long cables for each side of the door) and re-attaching to the central latch mechanism.

I have a Venetian blind that needs restringing. One of the strings is broken, and the other strings are discolored from use over time. I'm looking for someone experienced with Venetian blinds to: Repair the broken string. Replace or clean the discolored strings. Ensure the blind operates smoothly once the restringing is complete. The blind is 2m wide and 130cm high. I can provide the replacement strings, or you can supply them, and I can drop the blind to you or you can collect - please specify in your offer.

Install dog door in timber fence

A couple of handy jobs. 1) Our front door is a commercial glass door and it's stopped closing by itself. We can still close it easily but it needs to be adjusted. 2) Put up a Ikea Skadis storage board for us. Best days are Monday and Thurs, can also do Tues or Wed morning after 8am.

Moving into a new place and doing some small Reno’s, we need an extra set of hands in the final days with some odd cleaning tasks and handyman tasks.. including - cleaning windows and bathroom/tiles - pressure hose clean - fixing doors - replacing shower head / towel rails - small flat pack to make - and if there’s time, help with laying floors or hanging curtains if you’re skilled in this 🤪 I’d say maybe 3-4hrs work.
