Looking for an experienced gyprock plasterer to finish a small wall repair. I’ve installed the gyprock sheets myself and have already applied a rough first/base coat, but I’d like someone with plastering experience to come and make it look professional. Scope of work: * Sand/prep the existing first coat as required * Apply any additional base coat where needed * Apply finishing/top coat * Finish around two manholes: * One ceiling manhole * One wall manhole * Internal corner and a few joints to finish Area: * Less than 4 m² of gyprock plastering in total Important: * The existing first coat is already on the wall and will require sanding/preparation before finishing * No final sanding required after the finishing coat is applied (I’ll do that myself) * All gyprock will be installed before you arrive *we can supply bottom coat and top coat * Photos attached showing current condition Looking for someone available tomorrow or Sunday. The mirror weighs approximately 13.5kg and has a built-in shelf, so it must be perfectly level and structurally sound. Scope of Work: Assessment: Identify if studs are available at the desired location. Installation: Securely hang the mirror using appropriate heavy-duty fixings. If no studs are available, you must use metal toggle bolts or hollow wall anchors (Molly bolts) rated for at least 20kg. Precision: Ensure the mirror is 100% level (the shelf makes any tilt very obvious). I would like an experienced carpenter/builder to rebuild the lower section of a gyprock wall (laundry) where moisture has caused the timber bottom plate and bottom of studs to rot & crumble away. In 2-5 years, I would like to rebuild this entire room (as understand the issue is bigger than this one wall!), but for now, would simply like the wall made structurally sound and rotten material replaced with moisture-resistant alternatives to buy me some time before I plan a bigger renovation. Will need to make the studs structurally sound (add something to support them at the bottom as no longer touching concrete base), add new bottom plate (something moisture-resistant please), and replace the missing gyprock & door framing. I've removed lots of the damaged materials so you can clearly see the issue!
