Looking for someone handy and experienced to help us get through some painting and general prep work around our house. We’ve recently moved in and there are quite a few jobs we’d love an extra set of hands with, including: * Sanding walls and ceilings * Scraping/removing loose or peeling paint * Filling and patching small areas * Preparing surfaces ready for painting * Priming where needed * Painting walls, ceilings and trim * General small handyman/prep jobs as we go Ideally looking for someone who has experience with painting and prep work and knows how to get a nice finish. Happy to start with one full day (around 8 hours) and, if it’s a good fit, there will likely be more days/work available. We can supply paint and materials, but it would be great if you have your own basic tools/equipment. Please let me know a little about your experience and what your day rate would be 😊

Need cornice supplied and installed along one section of wall/ceiling junction in a home study (Sydney). Existing cornice is missing/damaged along approx. 3–4m run where two walls meet at a corner — see photos. Supply matching cornice (or confirm profile on site before purchase) • Cut, fit, and adhere/set cornice along the exposed run shown in photos • Fill and seal joins for a clean finish

Kitchen just renovated. Need replacing of timber window frame around kitchen window which is above the sink so need some waterproofing on bottom of frame. The existing timber frame has water damage.

I bought the material, wire cutters etc , (might need a few wall plugs and screws) just need someone to patch up from under the house We also have x2 wooden door that will need to be patched up or modified properly also. I have an outdoor awning 3m x 1m that needs putting up outside the back door. All pieces included for the job. There’s a track that would get attached to the house, awning would slide thru track, metal brackets x 3 attach to awning and then to house. Easy access to house. No stairs. Have big ladder. First 2 photos are new awning to be put up. Second 2 photos are where awning needs to be attached (small white awning will be removed)

I have two mirrors, one 80cmx1m and one 1.6mx1m that need affixing to the wall. I believe our house has metal beams and will need someone who understands how to do this without damaging the wall as the larger mirror weighs 20kg.

A carpenter has just finished putting in a couple of walls for a new bathroom in my granny flat and now I need someone to plaster the board gaps. The walls will be painted over and not tiled over and the walls are villaboard not gyprock as it is a wet area. I have hardies joining compound base coat and top coat plus a couple rolls of joining tape if needed. If you want to use your own materials that is completely fine as well.
