I have a 6m secondhand, motorised, retractable awning that I need fitted to the side of our home over the deck. The awning comes with specialised brackets that allow attachment to the roof. I'm looking for an experienced awning installer who can assess the structural components of the walls/roof to ensure the awning is safely mounted. Advice about placement of the electrical socket to power the unit is also required. If you are a qualified electrician, then even better. Ideally you will also have experience in the maintenance of motorised awnings and can advise me about the unit. Given the size of the unit I assume you will require a team of one or two extra workers to assist you.

Replace fly screens on two wooden sliding doors with stronger mesh (as we have a cat). One door only requires the bottom section to be replaced, approximately 1040mm x 760mm. The other door requires both top and bottom replaced, so roughly 1040mm x 760mm and 1040mm x 1220mm (or 1040mm x 2000mm if top and bottom can be done together).

The recent storm derailed the fence gate from its track, and I suspect a potential motor damage or disruption that an expert should be able to fix quickly. The motor still has power and it makes a humm noise when the remote is clicked, so it’s likely a small job.

The door is rotten due to rain damage over years. I don’t want to buy a new one and prefer to repair it if possible. Once repaired add rain deflectors to the door. I am looking for someone honest that can tell me if they can get it done properly or if it is not repairable at all. The blind has broken and it needs to be fixed

Need a door installed. Door is brand new therefore needs handles, hinges installed (which we have). It is replacing an interior door which was narrower, therefore the frame (door stopper) needs to be trimmed or replaced to match the new thicker door. Besides the thickness, door should match frame. Worst case some trimming on bottom edge if necessary. Door is made of timber & glass. Door is an exterior door so not light/hollow like most interior doors. If done on weekends I can assist with lifting etc if needed.

I need a total repaint of a small 1 bedroom unit, and also the ground area of patio outside. Painting includes skirting, ceilings, doors, architraves. Unit will be vacant and most furniture will be removed, just bed, sofa and fridge may have to be moved to middle of rooms. Same/similar paint as current. Hi there I recently bought a second hand Herman Miller Mirra 1. It broke on me after a few days use. The lever on the left (that controls the tilt-ability of the chair) has stopped doing anything - the chair is always in 'full-tilt' mode, if that makes sense?
