Two walls, each 3.1m wide, needing PhotoTex fabric stick-on wallpaper professionally put on walls (slanted ceilings). But one of the walls only needs it placed on the top half. I have all the supplies needed. Start from the left-hand side of the wall, with the wallpaper panel numbered ('1') (see reverse of wallpaper). Work sequentially through the numbered panels. Ensure you have the wallpaper the correct way up (see reverse marked ‘TOP’). You must take your time, as panel 1 needs to be correctly positioned; it sets the tone for your entire wall. Get this panel straight, and you’re guaranteed a much easier installation. 4/ When you are ready to stick the wallpaper on, lay the wallpaper flat on the floor and peel back the backing sheet around 10cm and crease/ fold back so that the peel sits flat (do not peel the entire backing sheet off yet). 5/ Start sticking the 10cm of exposed wallpaper and ensure that it’s level. Your ceiling is likely not perfectly square, so you will need to overhang the wallpaper above the cornice and trim later. Your adjoining wall, also may not be perfectly square, therefore, you may need to overhang the wallpaper slightly over the left-hand edge and trim later. We allow extra on the height and width to accommodate for this. Smooth it onto the wall firmly with the squeegee provided. 6/ Now it’s time to the remove the backing sheet. Remember: make sure that it’s in exactly the right position before continuing. Don’t stick until you are comfortable that you have it in the right position. Now is the time to adjust the wallpaper if you are not happy with your positioning. Very slowly and evenly peel back the backing sheet. Continue as you go, to smooth on firmly with your squeegee. Your assistant can slowly remove the backing sheet during this phase while you smooth it on firmly. Work your way down and outwards to remove any bubbles. Let this happen naturally, do not try to stretch or force it into place. - Due date: Needs to be done on Monday, 15 May 2023
