Urgent — fox-proof chicken coop/run today We had a fox enter our chicken run this morning and need someone to properly fox-proof the enclosure ASAP. The existing run is fenced but currently has an open/partially netted top. I need someone to assess it and securely enclose the entire top, reinforce any vulnerable gaps/edges and make sure a fox cannot climb, jump or push its way in. Ideally today as the chicken currently needs to stay locked inside her enclosed hutch. Happy for you to purchase any additional materials required and I’ll reimburse separately. **Permaculture Garden & Chicken Coop Maintenance – Approx. 3 Hours** $80 per hour We’re looking for someone practical and happy to get their hands dirty to help with a few maintenance jobs around our **permaculture garden**. We have a small chicken coop, aquaponics, fruit and vegetable gardens, composting areas, a banana circle and a small pond, so this would suit someone who enjoys gardening, permaculture or general outdoor maintenance. Jobs include: * Cleaning out the chicken nesting/coop area * Shovelling chicken manure into compost bins * Removing cobwebs and giving the coop a general tidy * Cleaning the chickens’ water dispenser * Collecting loose twigs and leaves from the chicken run and adding them to compost * Hosing down compost bins * Cleaning a small pond at the front of the property — approx. **600mm deep** * Scrubbing moss/algae from the pond and scooping out organic material to add to the banana circle * Some light mulching/chipping of branches if time allows * General tidy-up and maintenance around the garden **Important:** You’ll need to be comfortable getting into the pond to clean it, so shorts or suitable clothes are recommended. We estimate around **3 hours of work**. Ideally we’d love someone who has an interest in **permaculture, gardening, composting or sustainable growing systems**, as there may be opportunities for similar garden maintenance work in the future.
