For the baby gates: * Leave the existing natural timber gate frames exactly as they are. * Leave the black hinges as they are. * Fill screw holes, joins and any rough/unfinished areas in the added timber mounting posts/blocks only. * Sand those posts smooth, prime and paint them in a high-quality white lustre / satin finish so they blend neatly with the existing white staircase and look professionally finished. * Care needs to be taken around the acrylic panels, hinges and latch hardware. For the 2 timber Adirondack chairs: * Prepare/lightly sand as required. * Repaint in a high-quality white lustre finish. * Apply an appropriate durable exterior protective finish/sealer. The chairs sit under a covered verandah. Please bring your own sanding equipment, filler, primer, brushes/rollers, drop sheets, PPE/gloves and other tools. Happy to purchase the final paint once we agree on the right product. I’m looking for a smooth, neat finish with no obvious filler marks, drips or heavy brush marks.

I require a double door gate installed at my father's property. The height to be approx 1.8m high x 2.3m wide. He prefers a steel frame with a material that can't be seen through, so no gaps. There is a steel post on the fence side and a timber post attached to the house. Both are in good condition for attachment of hinges. It's going to be a feature so please no cheap timber paling material.

My pool gate has failed council inspection and I urgently need it to be repaired or replaced. It is not automatically closing when opened. It is black metal gate, 960 wide and 1200 high. Photo attached. I have to have it repaired or replaced by 4th October.

Looking for someone to repair/re-secure a loose external door handle that is connected to an electronic keypad lock. The keypad/locking mechanism is working normally and the door still locks, unlocks and opens fine. The issue is just that the handle and circular mounting plate have become loose and are pulling away from the door (see photos). Would like the handle properly secured back flush to the door and any damaged/rusted screws or fixings replaced if required. Budget: $100 including any basic replacement screws/fixings.

Old iron pedestrian gate at front house in Kew, mounted to a brick pillar. Bottom hinge is missing but the gate still swings on the top hinge. new hinge really needed to match existing one or close to it. Two issues: Gate will not latch shut – latch and/or striker need realignment or replacement. Gate will not swing fully open due to raised ground from tree roots in front of it – need small adjustment/trim at bottom of gate to regain clearance. Looking for someone to restore both reliable closing and full swing with minimal visual change to the existing gate

Have a gate that needs a new hinge put into it. Two hinges, the top one looks ok but have bought another to be put on the bottom. Reasonably heavy gate. Any queries let me know.
