Hi, I renovated 15 yeas ago. Having carpet layed in my bedrooms. At the time the floor boards very soft in areas and the builder laid some type of tin product over parts on the floor …. The kitchen and entryway of my new apartment has parquetry flooring which I would I think I would like sanding and polishing. We have old lino floors in our kitchen which we want to remove and get back to the wood floor underneath. There is a rubber underlay under the lino which is stuck down. We aren’t removing our kitchen cabinets etc, so it’s really only a 12-15m2 space that needs to be completed. The floor will need to be sanded and refinished. I’ve also included a picture of another room where we had the floor refinished. The wood in the kitchen is the same as this.
