Hi, I’m looking for an experienced flooring professional to sand back and stain my timber floors, finishing with a matte or low-sheen seal. The floors are currently in good condition but under the mat is slightly darker as other area has been exposed to sun. and run through an an area to be completed is a per image photo). I am after a natural, modern look — not glossy. Scope of work: • Full sand back of existing timber floors • Stain to enhance the natural timber tone (open to recommendations) • Matte / satin-matte protective finish • Clean, careful workmanship required

I have Baltic pine flooring that has a few squeeks in select areas and a few damaged boards. There’s 2 rooms that could be used for donating good boards to replace the damaged (as the 2 rooms are being carpeted). The donated boards would need to be replaced with whatever is suitable to make the floor flat again ready for carpeting. So at this stage it’s replacing the broken and getting rid of the squeeks (where possible).
