Find an experienced flooring expert in Birchgrove

We’re looking for an experienced handyman/carpenter to relay the flooring in our laundry and repaint the walls. Scope of works: • Replace existing flooring by laying yellow tongue flooring over the top of the existing MDF floor • Existing floor is old and slightly bouncy, so looking for someone experienced who can ensure the new floor is solid and level • Cut new yellow tongue sheets to size and install • Laundry size is approximately 2700mm x 2700mm (approx. 10sqm) • Ensure flooring is secure and ready for final finish — we have spacers to help pack out uneven areas if required • Prep walls as needed • Paint laundry walls (paint supplied) Please bring your own tools and include: • Labour cost • Estimated timeframe • Experience with flooring/carpentry work Materials supplied: • Yellow tongue flooring Located in Birchgrove, NSW. Experienced builder or senior carpenter needed to quote and complete a rear timber deck rebuild in Birchgrove (Inner West). This is a like-for-like replacement of an existing elevated deck (~2.1 m high) with new engineered concrete footings (up to 800 mm deep in places). Structural drawings are complete and will be provided. The job was previously allocated but the builder has gone on extended sick leave; all materials have already been ordered and are stored under the house. We’re looking for someone experienced with elevated decks and working from engineer’s drawings, with availability to complete the build by 6 January. Site visit and quote ASAP.

We would like to a small update to our outdoor courtyard. Tiles need to be removed (presumably jackhammer?) and then new pavers installed. The area where the outdoor furniture is doesn’t need to be touched, as we plan to install artificial grass. Area is just under 22m2. Pavers will be supplied. Ideally you will remove rubbish (discarded tiles etc.)
