It’s been neglected for a few years after a gum tree branch damaged the wire mesh. The task includes clearing weeds and advising on suitable wire mesh so I can supply the materials. The goal is to restore the cage to a safe, usable condition so chickens can be moved in straight away

Make a timber garden frame for a climbing plant. Two or three timber posts. Top and bottom cross pieces, probably treated pine. Fit 1200mm wire trellis (Green pvc coated wire). Approx 3.2 metres wide. Timber posts approx 1.7m above ground.

Existing fence is in place along the front of the yard, we want to install a matching fence along the side. The space is about 3 or 4 metres long I think. The fence height should come to 150cm, but the timber itself could be shorter since it would sit on top of a small concrete wall (about knee height). I know the existing fence is spotted gum painted white, but not fussed about the timber used really

I have purchased a hoselock hose reel for my front garden and realise that the best placement involves a wooden post being concreted into the garden bed and then the reel being attached to that. So, dig a hole big enough to hold the weight, shove in a post, concrete it in and attach the hose reel. I could do it, but i don't have a post, i don't have the cement and my wife says I am hopeless with power tools. Which is fair. (the reel weighs 9.5kg apparently) and I guess it will need to be approx 75cm-1m off the ground). A bit top heavy

I have an old rotten garden fence post that needs removing then a replacement of the same size to be installed. The fence and gate are collapsing because of this rotting corner post. The new post will need concreting in and aligning.

An old section of fence (2 concrete posts and a single wooden section) was left behind when a new colourbond fence was installed at our property because a creeper was growing on it. That creeper and old fence section has fallen and needs to be removed. We have a wooden slat farm fence across the front of our property, but the gaps are large enough for our dogs to squeeze through. Door will be installed from the centre to be able to swing properly because heater unit is on the way. !!
