The fence height should come to 150cm, but the timber itself could be shorter since it would sit on top of a small concrete wall (about knee height). I have purchased a hoselock hose reel for my front garden and realise that the best placement involves a wooden post being concreted into the garden bed and then the reel being attached to that. So, dig a hole big enough to hold the weight, shove in a post, concrete it in and attach the hose reel. I have an old rotten garden fence post that needs removing then a replacement of the same size to be installed. The fence and gate are collapsing because of this rotting corner post. The new post will need concreting in and aligning.
