I’m looking for someone to help install reo screening sheets onto an existing timber paling fence. The screening will be used to support climbing vines. All materials will be provided. The job mainly involves measuring, positioning, and securely fixing the reo panels to the current timber structure (with extra timber to posts). I estimate the work will take approximately 4–6 hours, depending on experience. Photo with chair shows the actual space where the screening will be installed. The other photos show the style/look I’m aiming for. Ideal for someone with handyman or fencing experience.

Make a timber garden frame for a climbing plant. Two or three timber posts. Top and bottom cross pieces, probably treated pine. Fit 1200mm wire trellis (Green pvc coated wire). Approx 3.2 metres wide. Timber posts approx 1.7m above ground.

The fence height should come to 150cm, but the timber itself could be shorter since it would sit on top of a small concrete wall (about knee height). I have purchased a hoselock hose reel for my front garden and realise that the best placement involves a wooden post being concreted into the garden bed and then the reel being attached to that. So, dig a hole big enough to hold the weight, shove in a post, concrete it in and attach the hose reel. I could do it, but i don't have a post, i don't have the cement and my wife says I am hopeless with power tools. Which is fair. We have a wooden slat farm fence across the front of our property, but the gaps are large enough for our dogs to squeeze through. Dig out 2 existing footings (existing post’s have rusted from raised garden bed). String line and set up new colorbond post (back to back c posts 50 x 50 rails - to suit 1800mm panels). Apply new concrete (hole will have to be at least 600mm deep & 300mm x 300mm wide )
