The Issue: Three of our ceiling-mounted track spotlights have gone out, which is dimming our sales floor. As these are integrated LED units, the entire fitting needs to be replaced, not just a bulb. The Job: The task is to supply and install new, like-for-like replacements for the three faulty lights. The scope of work includes: 1. Safely accessing the light fittings on the high ceiling track (a suitable ladder is required). 2. Removing the three faulty light fittings from the track. 3. Supplying and installing three new, identical replacement track light fittings. 4. I require a licensed electrician (with current NSW registration if applicable) to carry out the following work: Connect four ceiling fans (each with integrated lighting) to the existing lighting circuits/final subcircuits. The fans are already assembled and securely mounted to the ceiling joists using appropriate fan-rated brackets/supports. The previous light fittings have been removed, leaving the existing ceiling roses or junction boxes ready for connection. Each fan includes a light kit, and the supplied remote control receiver/handset allows independent operation of the fan motor and the lights (i.e. separate switching/control via remote). Supply and install two double GPOs (general purpose outlets / power points) in the attic/roof space. This will involve running appropriate TPS cable from the nearest existing circuit or distribution point in the roof space (or as determined on site), installing two flush-mounted or surface-mounted double socket outlets in suitable locations, complete with architrave brackets or wall boxes, attaching to a single timber frame/joist as required, and making safe connections back to the existing cabling. The attic has a catwalk/platform with carpet underlay, allowing comfortable and safe access without risk of falling through the ceiling.
