I recently tried to upgrade our internet plan with Telstra to FTTP. The engineer came to the property which is a two unit town house (strata). They explained that the connection box is on our neighbour’s wall and our copper cable runs through their property. They advised that we’d need to get an electrician to run the fibre optic cable (which they have given me - 30m in length) through our neighbour’s into our unit. I will speak to our neighbour to get permission but want to understand likely cost/size of job

I have a few small jobs for an electrician. The most pressing is replacing the display on my outdoor pool heater - See attached photo. My Airbnb guests say the wifi is “not working”. I can’t be more specific , sorry. They have turned the modem off, then on again. I’ve checked and there are no NBN outages, nor service provider outages. I’d like to add cables one direct to the NBN outlet (to eliminate wifi problems) and one to the aerial (so free to air broadcast TV is available)

We have two light fittings that need to be replaced - one a round Oyster-style light where the internal light holder has given way, and one old long florescent lamp (slim width style) with poor connectors both ends. Need to replace both fitting fully with new fittings and led-style lights (in the same fitting style - one oyster style one fluorescent style) so that there no ceiling work needed after the change

Then I I had installed some new timber panel around 2 light switches which now appear to be tripping a circuit, so will need these open and fixed and reattached.
