I’ve got 3 light fittings that need installing. One is a bit high and on a stair case so will need a ladder that can be used in a stair case. Stair case is wood so must not be scratched.

I need to do a short cable run from a switch to a lamp so it would have power even when the switch is off, as it is battery powered emergency light. I also need a smoke alarm replaced, it is all on a short 2.5m cable run through an exposed plastic conduit. I have a new smoke alarm that needs to be installed, it us a wired smoke alarm without interconnections, just power.

I live in an apartment and need 6 kitchen down lights replaced with Philips Hue or equivalent smart lights which I will purchase and have ready to swap in.
