We’re looking for a licensed electrician to supply and install interconnected smoke alarms and evacuation lighting in a rooming house property in Clayton (main house + granny flat operating as one premises, need to be connected). Scope of Work: Install 14 interconnected, hard-wired smoke alarms (preferably with battery backup). Install 7 evacuation/emergency lights. All interconnected smoke alarms and evacuation lighting must be linked to the existing lighting circuit in the passageway and all common areas. When the smoke alarms are activated, egress lighting should automatically activate for evacuation purposes. System must comply with current Rooming House and BCA requirements. Requirements: Must be a fully licensed electrician (REC). Must provide a Certificate of Electrical Safety and product compliance documentation. There are 4 bathrooms and they have used circular tube light. Once the bulb gone it is very difficult to change it to new one. Even if you change, it won't work most of the time. Apperntly there could be issue with the wiring or something not the new bulb. I want to change it new type of bulbs.
