Hi, I need an experienced handyman to reinstall a lightweight LED pendant that has fallen from my plasterboard ceiling. There’s no electrical work involved (it’s remote-operated), so this is purely a mounting job. The ceiling isn’t very solid and this is the only spot it can go back, so it will likely need a proper cavity fixing or reinforcement to ensure it’s securely supported and won’t fall again. There is an existing hole from the previous install, which may need to be reinforced, adjusted or patched before reinstalling. I’m looking for a safe and long-term solution without damaging or cracking the ceiling. Please only apply if you have experience fixing into plasterboard ceilings. Thanks!
