We need help setting up our wifi, the signal upstairs isn’t the greatest and we were also wondering whether the ethernet ports in our rooms work.

Existing network need help to reset and set up on new computer and add one outdoor device. At the moment we have 3 access points Templestowe location

I have a wi-fi extender that needs to be set up from my modem in one room to a smart tv in another about 20 metres away

1. Ethernet cable labelling. We no longer know what goes where and whether it’s active. 2. Ensure all the main devices are connected to the ethernet. 3. Reset router and set up permissions and family usage with Mum to retain control through the ASUS app. 4. Make sure all family devices are connected through desired network or Wi-Fi and that Mum can adequately control through the routers app.

I have two existing telecommunications/data cables in the property that I believe may be related to the NBN or previous internet services. Before any installation work proceeds, I need the cables tested to determine whether either cable is active/live and suitable for use as an internet connection. If a live service is identified, I would like the cable terminated into an RJ45 data outlet using the wall plate and RJ45 components that I already have on site. The cable will need to be correctly terminated, tested, and mounted to the wall bracket/faceplate. The objective is to create a functional Ethernet connection that can be connected to my NBN Network Termination Device or modem/router. Once the data outlet is installed and tested, I intend to connect my modem/router and establish a Wi-Fi network throughout the property. Scope of works: Inspect and identify the two existing telecommunications/data cables. Determine whether either cable is active/live and connected to an NBN or internet service. Test cable continuity and suitability for Ethernet/data use. Terminate the active cable into an RJ45 data outlet. Install and secure the RJ45 outlet to the supplied wall bracket/faceplate. Test the completed connection to confirm correct wiring and functionality. Advise if any additional work is required to connect the service to the modem/router. Photos of the existing cables, modem/NTD, and RJ45 components are attached for reference.

I revently moved into a house which has existing infrastructure for smart home. Dahua Home Security. Lanbon smart switches. Polyaire smart AC. I’ve moved into a modern apartment that has NBN and everything wired… I just can’t figure it out. NBN FTTP is working but only in the cupboard. House ethernet ports aren’t patched, so modem doesn’t work in any room. I don’t know where to put the modem. Need someone to trace cables and patch the correct port so internet works at wall sockets.

Hi there - looking for a wifi expert to come at help set up our network at new house. It is four story, with key NBN wiring on ground floor. We are using TP Link set up with one booster. Need help creating one network throughout the house with consistent speed.
