My parents are in their 70s and both my sister and myself live overseas. In ~ 2016 I set my parents up with an OnHub router network; OnHub was acquired by Google and is sunsetting this product. I'd like someone to set up a new wireless network at my parents' place and provide clear, easy instructions for how they can reset the password if needed, connect to this network on different devices, and other basic tasks they might need to undertake. I would like steps taken during this session to be documented somehow so they can easily transfer knowledge to someone else down the line if ad-hoc maintenance is needed.

I have an NBN modem installed at the back of my house. As you can see from the photos attached, we are getting great download speeds near the modem (living room and kitchen) but with my office at the front of the house, even with TP-Link Wifi 7 system installed (wirelessly - see photo attached), the download speeds are terrible. We would like a professional data cabler to come to our property to link up 2, if not all 3 wifi mesh units direct to the modem please. We have a pitched roof so the potential to run cable through there and have sockets installed to connect each device, if possible. My parents have had issues with their home wifi of which the current provider is Telstra through the Nbn and it is currently not operating at all. They have a Netgear Orbi system installed throughout the house as it is a large house and have multiple tv’s using Greek TV boxes, Sonos Audio which are connected to the internet and as such are also not working. I require someone to do some troubleshooting as to the reason why the connection to the internet through the Nbn is not working (they are using a 4g temp connection atm) as Telstra and Nbn are both not the best at providing solutions which is extremely frustrating so an experienced IT Technician would be most suitable for this job as Telstra techs came out and they are blaming the Nbn and Nbn is blaming Telstra. Identify fault, get system back up and running again ensuring, or I, tv boxes and Sonos are all working correctly.

We have an existing 5G Wifi Network set up at home via TPG/NBN. No issues with the service itself. Undertaking a speed test next to the modem, the 466mbps is being achieved however my office is located at the front of the house and the modem is near the back of the house. I have a 5G extender and 3 x TP-Link Deco Mesh Wifi system units set up to try and replicate that coverage in my office but as you can see from the photo attached, I am only achieving 100mbps, even with the help of the mesh system. It would be great to have someone familiar with setting up Mesh Wifi systems to come to our home and help set the system up the best way possible, to maximise download speeds in my home office. I am having so many problems with my wifi network. It’s an almost new (6 months old) UniFy Ubiquiti system with 5 satellites. I have approximately 110 devices connected to it (most are smart lights, etc.) and at the moment it is not allowing me to connect anything new, it is randomly kicking devices off the network, and of most frustration. My Sonos system is completely non-functional because of the Wi-Fi issues. I need this fixed, I suspect it is a settings related issue as there is excellent Wi-Fi coverage showing in the app for all satellites across the whole house. I think at a minimum we need a full factory reset and I need someone who really knows this system. Well who can configure it to work flawlessly?

Hi team, looking for an IT helpdesk professional asap to resolve a frustrating Wifi issue that has occurred on my Windows 11 PC as of today. Post the latest updates from Windows, it is now not allowing me to search for any wifi signals in my area. The error flagged is “The driver for your Intel(R) Wireless-AC 9560 160MHz network adapter isn’t running.” I have tried countless times to restart, uninstall the problematic update and also update the driver to no avail. I know the wifi signal is working as my iPhone is able to connect to it with no issues. Requesting assistance from anyone that can resolve this tonight. Thanks

Hello, I'm looking into getting WiFi via byo modem and then connecting to a plan but I need to know what router to get first. I'm looking for advice only ATM as to which modem I can use , I have an nbn box from previous Internet but not sure what modem I need, nbn available at my address is hfc. I don't want to spend a lot on the router but aiming for a plan of 250 dl and 23 upload as I want to use it for gaming. Dual band? Mesh? I will likely need a router with long range or extender or mesh as it will need to reach outside but not sure on square footage of my home. Pics and advice would be appreciated. Once I know what to buy I can then hire someone to help me install. I'd like it done asap as I need wifi.
