I’m looking for someone to help me set- up modem/router and connect my Smart-tv to the wifi. No wall mounting required. Plug-in fridge to power (no ice maker) and check tabs in the washing machine before I connect/use it (already installed). Ideally a handyman/electrician. Kindly guide me on a fair price :)

I have two existing telecommunications/data cables in the property that I believe may be related to the NBN or previous internet services. Before any installation work proceeds, I need the cables tested to determine whether either cable is active/live and suitable for use as an internet connection. If a live service is identified, I would like the cable terminated into an RJ45 data outlet using the wall plate and RJ45 components that I already have on site. The cable will need to be correctly terminated, tested, and mounted to the wall bracket/faceplate. The objective is to create a functional Ethernet connection that can be connected to my NBN Network Termination Device or modem/router. Once the data outlet is installed and tested, I intend to connect my modem/router and establish a Wi-Fi network throughout the property. Scope of works: Inspect and identify the two existing telecommunications/data cables. Determine whether either cable is active/live and connected to an NBN or internet service. Test cable continuity and suitability for Ethernet/data use. Terminate the active cable into an RJ45 data outlet. Install and secure the RJ45 outlet to the supplied wall bracket/faceplate. Test the completed connection to confirm correct wiring and functionality. Advise if any additional work is required to connect the service to the modem/router. My Asus DSL-AX82U router has dipped into recovery/rescue mode, apparently it needs to have the latest firmware installed in order to get it working again. I went and bought a USB-C/ethernet adapter to connect to the MacBook Pro, I’ve downloaded the firmware but I’m unable to install it onto the router.

Fix NBN modem, cord fallen out of wall modem. Will need electrician etc. Using iinet NBN Job ideally done this weekend (2-3/5/26) Thanks!
