We're looking for a skilled individual to help us organise and optimise our iTunes music library. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for music, this task is perfect for you. You must be an iTunes guru and technically proficient and be able to explain things in easy language to us. The successful candidate will perform the following tasks: 1. Remove Duplicate Playlists: a. Identify and eliminate duplicate playlists to streamline the organisation of our music collection. 2. Download Music from Apple Music: a. Download all music from our Apple Music account to ensure that each track is available locally. 3. Local Storage of Music Files: a. Verify and ensure that all downloaded music files are stored locally on our server, eliminating reliance on the Apple Music cloud. b. Identify tracks and playlists stored on Apple Music cloud and replace them with corresponding local versions from our server to enhance accessibility and reduce dependency on cloud-based storage. c. Synchronize iTunes with three designated Apple devices (2 ipods and 1 iphone) to ensure that the music libraries on each device are identical. d. Configure iTunes to exclusively sync music files locally or set things up so that it is easy for us to update playlists on the PC and reflect on each device without duplicate playlists magically appearing c. get rid of some songs saying not available in your region despite the physical file sitting on our server. Requirements: • Proficient in iTunes and Apple Music functionalities. • Strong Understanding of the Apple eco-system. • Strong organisational skills to efficiently manage playlists and music files. • Knowledgeable about syncing processes between iTunes and Apple devices. • Attention to detail to identify and resolve any discrepancies in the music library. • Ability to explain things clearly to the client and demonstrate how to update and sync devices effortlessly. - Due date: Flexible Must be done from our office in Melbourne (st kilda rd)

Large iTunes library on 18yo full size Mac, most music copied from CDs. Need to get rid of old Mac, ideally by having library in iMusic on Macbook Air (2017 model). Entered wrong password too many times and kids iPad locked . Unfortunately don’t have enough memory on laptop to download iTunes and restore from back up.

In iTunes most of the music list from my phone is grayed out with a dotted circle in the column next to them. Also I cannot transfer music from my iPod across to my phone. Also syncing error 54 appears.
