I have a 2m × 4m section of an existing steel shed on a concrete slab that I would like converted into a clean, vermin-proof storage room. The shed is already constructed – this is not a shed build. Work required: • Line the inside walls of the 2m × 4m area • Seal gaps to make it vermin-proof • Build a 2m × 1.5m overhead storage platform at one end for storage boxes (not an occupiable mezzanine) • Advise on the simplest/economical materials and construction method I can provide photos/video before you accept the job so you can see exactly what is involved. Airtasker price of $1,500 is for labour. Materials will be paid for separately by me. There is no permanent power in this part of the shed, but extension power can be supplied from the house. I’m looking for someone experienced and practical who is comfortable working with an existing steel shed structure.

I have a rotted out timber support beam that supports decking that needs to be replaced. The support measures approximately 92cm x 4 cm depth x 17cm width. The decking that it supports is at the top of some stairs and is a platform where the steps then turn. I'll attach some images.

Kitchen and office cabinetry works, including kitchen cabinetry & side panel (VJ finishing), bulkhead extension to suit cabinetry, office storage units, side gate carpentry (can measure & order aluminium battens) for you to install, and installation or finishing of window architraves. I need a skilled handyman or carpenter to repair a wooden outdoor sun lounger with a failed structural joint. As shown in the photos, the timber around the joint has split/rotted and pulled apart, and the lounger is currently unsafe to use. This will require proper reinforcement, dowel/brace replacement, or timber repair — not a cosmetic fix. What needs doing: • Assess the failed joint and surrounding timber • Repair or rebuild the joint so it is structurally sound • Reinforce as needed (e.g. new dowel, bracket, hardwood insert, epoxy timber repair, etc.) • Ensure the lounger can safely support body weight Important: • This is a load-bearing repair • Please only apply if you have experience repairing wooden furniture or structural timber joints • You must have your own tools Materials: Happy to cover reasonable material costs — please discuss before proceeding.

We are replacing our oven dropping down from a 75cm oven to a 60cm oven. Looking for someone to adjust or replace the oven cavity to suit the smaller size of the new appliance and colour match existing Laminex - pics attached of existing oven and laminex colour we think is a close match! Existing oven will be disconnected and removed prior.

Area approx 1m2 on ceiling needs stain block & painted to match & blend with surrounding ceiling. Area is approx 40cm x 30cm. Light fitting will be disconnected and removed. I will supply stain blocker and paint. Tasker should supply all other equipment.

I need 3 medium size renovation jobs done to my home in Elanora. 1. Convert garage door to large external arch door entry way 2. Demolish a wall partially and create an arched void/mezzanine between room and existing garage area 3. Convert wardrobe doorway to arched opening and remove another existing internal doorway (cover it). Also remove an internal wall to create an opening for a new walk in wardrobe (wardrobe shelving eill be purchased from Ikea). More information in attached pictures. Pine decking boards are a bit tired. Structually the deck is very sound. I am wanting to replace the boards with Merbau. I have a good source where i cam purchase new timber, but i need someone to do the labour. Im happy to remove the old ones if you like. I have no idea what the cost will be, but we can negotiate that
