Need roof trusses modified. Here is a description of what needs to be done: The bottom chord of the truss (ceiling joist) is a 90x45, this chord will be strengthened using a 140x45 MGP10 beam added spanning 3.0 m. The beam is screwed to the ceiling joists every 600 mm. The top chord of the truss (roof rafter) is a 90x45, this chord will be strengthened using a 140x45 MGP10 beam spanning 3.0 m. The vertical chords can then be removed. The unit is safe to be suspended to any of the trusses, modified and nonmodified. The same method is to be used for the three trusses. A maximum of 3 trusses to be modified I don’t have the materials so I will require those.

I have an engineer drawing up the plans for this at the moment. But it will essentially be cutting the marked trusses (3) and reinforcing them with plates to make room for a ducted AC unit

Carpenter - install flashings above window, seal gap in top corner of cladding, fix sarking on bottom of the window. Drywall has been removed.

Hard to describe but I’ll try. We have a raised house that has wooden slats at the top of the decking (photo shows the wood slats in white about the carport). We have a brand new decking that needs the same slats but in merbau to continue the style. We have other carpentry work, but the slats are urgent as photos being taken Friday to go up for sale.

The bottom plate/timber base is rotted and compromised on small section of property. It’s no longer providing a proper barrier or structural support, so it needs to be replaced or repaired to prevent moisture ingress and pest entry

Need someone that can remove 3 screws that are stuck, not sure if there stripped. Also need someone that has an angle grinder that can cut thru small nails that holds aluminium sheet on to get to the screws in the cabinet to dissemble it.

Due to wind, 1 of my 2 gates has broken hinge and fallen off. The job is to put it back in place with new hinges. I’ve just held it in place with wire.
